This section lists all maqams discussed in this website. This is
by no means a comprehensive list of all Arabic maqams since many
North African and Iraqi maqams are not included, instead this website
covers the most commonly used Middle Eastern maqams. In practice,
it's difficult to find a definitive list of Arabic maqams that all
textbooks agree on, or a definitive reference on which maqams are
strictly Arabic and which are Turkish or Persian.
